This Fairtrade coffee is nutty and chocolaty. It is made from organic beans which are grown at extreme elevations in the heartland of the Incas which is the Andes. It has a smooth, rich taste with overtones similar to fine dark chocolate.
This is a whole bean coffee that is suitable for all filter, pump and manual cafetiere coffee machines. A 227g package typically produces 30 cups of coffee.
Organic
The chocolatey, nutty flavours come from its high altitude home in the central region of the Incas. This Fairtrade Organic & Soil Association-certified coffee is cultivated in the Chanchamayo Province of Peru at 1,400 metres above the sea level. Arabica Caturra and Typica varieties are grown according to Washed Process standards, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
These Fair Trade and organic coffee beans are carefully selected in the foothills the Andes and then carefully and roasted to give them a full-bodied flavour. The nutty flavors, combined with dark chocolate undertones will make you want to get out of your bed every morning.
Bags weighing 750g are ideal for cafetieres, filter machine and jugs. The coffee is ground according to the equipment and the instructions on your machine for how much to make.
